I think in the poll, I originally said 'yes' but only if it's on sale. I started a new save with a new household, which I would skill up specifically for JA. It took some weeks to get them up in their skills, but once I felt they were ready, I just got impatient so I caved and bought the pack!
I am enjoying JA, and I really like that there's some planning involved by making sure they have all their 'survival' and exploration gear, finding good spots for setting up camp, putting out baits, etc. I do get a sense that my sims are on an expedition, rather than just travelling between lots as you would in other worlds. I felt I was in the minority of simmers who enjoy Outdoor Retreat, and yet it wasn't until JA that I am truly taking advantage of the potions that can be made from the herbal skill, so I think the two packs work well together!
