Not everybody can use mods. People need to understand, mods need to be updated, and you CANT download everything you see. You need to be selective. Some people either are new to the modding world, or they just dont have enough vision to understand this. Ive used tons of mods and none of them messed up my game cuz i know what im using. Now, if you use tons of mods, without even knowing if they are compatible, or broken, or whatever... well, yup, that is definitely going to mess up your game.
I am aware of that and I found your post very patronising. I have only ever used 4 mods ever in my game and 3 of them added nothing to my game, messed it up or nearly broke it. They were the latest updates and were mccc, splice of life and one I can’t mention. All created exception reports and I did plenty of research on how to safely download mods. The only mod that ever worked for me was a one that stopped other sims becoming spellcasters.
