I think they look awesome but I'm not sure if I'd recognize them without context (but I'm face blind anyway and don't even recognize my own brother ^^')
But it's still fascinating.

Surprisingly I got the (imo) best results with the barbify.me app 😅
Especially Kiyoshi, Jeb and Jack I would recognize at an instant.
But also Ji Ho and Vlad. But Saiwa looks weird ^^'

The AI images look great! 🙂 They are great reflections of them.
I think the ones in opening post are quite good match for AI although Saiwa appears more pale, Kiyoshi more tanned and Vlad more feminine(?)
also poor Jebs hair was shaved off 😂
I've not done this with any of my sims but I would be curious to try for science 😎
