Have you tried to make occults that haven't been added to ts4 yet?

Well I haven't formally made too many attempts (I did download a fairy gameplay mod once, but it's outdated and decommissioned somewhat I think). I seem to have this thing where I prefer not to play make-believe as a supernatural race until the official one has been released from EA/Maxis. I used to in the Sims 2, and a little bit in the Sims 3 but I've mostly gone off that. That being said, playing as a spellcaster with custom fairy wings could probably do at least some favors for make-believe until (or if) they release the real thing. I mean if I get desperate, odds are I'll end up just downloading custom fairy wings and doing just that. They do have some beautiful wings on the web.

Since they have fairies as familiars for spellcasters, I wonder how the lore is going to work out, if they add any at all. I know we have them as familiars, but I think it'd be more worth it to also just add them as a playable life state in the game.

I've posted it several times, but I am pretty desperate for playable fairy sims to finally make an official appearance. Alongside mermaids, they're my favorite mythological beings (you can imagine how excited I got when they were getting ready to release Island Paradise lol). Not just said familiars.

@AzukiMochi thank you! i think we downloaded the same mod by Nyx (now he's named Neil i think) but he said he removed the fairy, genie & mermaid mods cuz these were giving too many errors and he didn't want to focus on them yet, or this is what i read somewhere.

yeah i totally understand what you mean about the playing pretend, there are many amazing mods out there but nothing beats the real thing, like the fear emotion, the mod is great but man i can't help it i'm still excited for the canon fear emotion that devs announced lol

hmm i dunno either what devs planned with fairies but hopefully they get added to the game as playable occults too. though, i kinda doubt they'll get a full gameplay like vampires but i'm sure they will look just beautiful regardless (like mermaids, they look great but i would have loved a bit more gameplay, they have so much potential) i also thought about the spellcaster state with fairies, mostly for the glitter & sparkly animations.

I only play vanilla, however I've made a Vampire "Werewolf" & a Spellcaster "Fairy" in one of my households.
They are saved in the Gallery under my username SEREFRAS

I've been holding back on creating anything that might come to the game eventually (just to make my life easier really I'll make them if we get the occults)

but I've made kitsune yokai family for Mt.K cause we all know they ain't adding that

might convert them to some actual occult but I haven't quite decided which is most fitting and if we get better fit later id just add that so for now they are humans

@bella_goth Yeah I thought so. I actually did get to play a little bit of Nyx's fairy mod, and I greatly commend his efforts, but I just could never get fully established into it. Like you said, it can't beat the real thing. :P

Yeah I agree with you, that as much as I'd like a perk tree, the odds of it happening are on the somewhat slimmer side, after spending too much of my quiet time brooding about it a while ago. xD If they don't get a perk tree, it'd be cool to see them included within an EP, like mermaids were. And despite the mermaids not having too many things in the way of powers, the powers they do have are fun and have a lot of role play opportunities. ;) I also have a mod that extends mermaid gameplay, so that adds to it I think. But even without, it's still a lot of fun! (I'll play supernatural mods if they enhance the vanilla supernatural life state, just not ones that add life states from scratch anymore, as much as I admire their efforts.)

I'm on a similar boat! I love glitter, I love sparkle, I love lights. xD That would get me doing it if or when I get desperate. xD

I used CC orc tusks and green skin to make orcs. Later generations also have elf ears and different noses. I made a whole tribe that lives in a forest in Glimmerbrook.

@AzukiMochi a perks tree for fairies would be soo great. we could get nature fairies, kinda like nymphs, they could have a special element like water, air, fire, etc, and also auras, i'd really love something like this for example. of course lots of fairy glitter & sparkles is a must hahaha
by the way which mod is the mermaids enhancer one?? i know there was one about sea witches & stuff but is it updated?
