having a stairs issue

I want to build this tiny home that I found on YT. It has some outside stairs leading to both the 1st floor entry and a balcony.

But regardless how I try, I end up with this ugly useless floor part hanging out.

Do I just give up and accept the ugly?

Another option, I did this in Sims 3 a lot: if you use mods look up 'Various transparent floor pieces.' on Mod The Sims. it works like applying a floor texture but its see-through. I believe that Sims functionally 'needs' a floor beneath the stairs in Sims 4 often.

I tried to recreate what you were doing and managed to get rid of that part by moving the floor inwards toward the stairs. Not sure if that helps at all :)

Did you create a room for the stairs first?

@belpita The stairs have already created a room for themselves automatically.
