Having kids!

Hello guys! I just have a question about how to have kids when it comes to unplayable sims. Is there anyway I could have them get pregnant? I don't wanna do it with my sim but the sims in world they don't seem to have babies or at least try to adopt them. Also, can I do this to my daughter or son once they move out of the household?

  • There's no story progression in the vanilla game, so sims outside your main household won't reproduce without some meddling from you. Alternatively, if you're into mods, there's one called MC Command Center that allows for sims to get married/have children without needing your assistance.
  • You could also go into Manage Households and give them a kid or a few in CAS, if you don't mind skipping the actual pregnancy bit
  • I use MC Commander, and from my years of lurking on here I can tell you that many people also do!

Just be prepared for inbreeding between 2nd and 3rd cousins if you are playing a generational game.
  • You can add toddlers, kids, and teens or anyone to anyone in Manage Households. They will grow old by themselves. (if you have aging on for Non played Sims). I have added husbands, wives, kids etc. But remember the more you add the more that may get culled. So delete any Sims in the bin (Manange Households) you don't want in your game. There is a population cap then the game starts culling/deleting Non played Sim in the game. But it culls anyway every Sunday.

You could go to manage households and play with genetics and make them have kids that way. You could play that household and have them try for a baby that way too.

You can play with genetics with any household.
