Help! Cursor Not Responding To Select Button (PS4)

I was playing tonight and after a couple of hours of play, I played a household, put the cursor on a bench-top to have a Sim clean it, pressed the Select button and nothing happened. Tried to click on...

I bought the game today. Played for about 3-4 hours. X button stopped responding. I could press the options button on the controller and use the X button to save and return to main menu, but the X button will not select anything in game. I hope they fix it soon, I was enjoying it, now unplayable :(
