Help! How to get natural, even colored lighting and not rainbow of colors?

So I have an issue that is driving me nuts, i've noticed this trend of random indoor colored lighting (despite using base white lighting) where each room appears to have its own tone or the screenshot...

In live mode you can change the tone and intensity of all the lighting by clicking on just one of the lights. You can adjust that particular light, an entire room, or the entire house on just one light. I wish it could be done in build mode though.
