Hey everyone! So, with the current sale going on, I’m planning to get a few new packs. I’m definitely getting Growing Together, but I’m not sure what else to get. I own all of them except for:1. Growing together2. For Rent3. Horse ranch4. Werewolves5. Batuu6. Strangerville 7. Parenthood8. Vampires9. Home chef hustle10. Paranormal11. Toddler stuff12. Spooky stuff13. All kitsIn addition to getting growing together, I’m trying to decide between any two of Vampires, Werewolves, and/or Parenthood.I feel like parenthood would go well with growing together, but at the same time vampires and werewolves would go well together too. And if I do go with parenthood, it’s deciding whether to get vampires or werewolves with it.As for the other packs I don’t have, I’m goin to hold off on getting them for now for various reasons, and the aforementioned packs are the ones I’m deciding between.If anyone could provide a few thoughts I’d greatly appreciate it, as I’m having a hard time deciding since they all look so cool! What are your experiences with these three packs? Which ones have given you the most enjoyment? I will note that I play with aging off, but do rarely age up my sims manually. Also, my play style is mostly families and young adult singles doing everyday things, but I’m kinda wanting to try something different lately.Thanks!

I would go with Parenthood and Vampires. I use Parenthood all the time and Vampires has the Victorian Gothic feel of the clothes and furniture which I use a lot even when not playing with the actual vampires.

I enjoy Strangerville's CAS items and the army career but rarely play the main story or use the world. Toddler Stuff is a nice addition for but I don't consider it essential to my game, it was more of a bonus.

I think that most people choose packs for the theme listed in the title. My favorite things from all the packs are never the main focus of the pack.The hotwater kettle from For Rent is my favorite part of the pack. I like the journal from Parenthood. The garlic and wall cracks from Vampires. The CAS and build/buy from Werewolves. I love the Metal station from Nifty Knitting. And the sleeping bag from Horse Ranch even more than the one from Growing Together. The debug furniture from Eco Living. Make sure to look at things like radio stations and aspirations and kitchen appliances and think about what feels missing from your game now. Look at the cross-pack compatibility rather than the pack itself.I love love love Home Chef Hustle for its main theme, though. And I love it even more paired with the early purchase Quick Treats Grill in For Rent. I am so sad that the cart grill will not be available for anyone after January 18th. It is too important an item to discontinue it! If you think you want that grill, then I would prioritize For Rent.

I would go with Parenthood and Vampires. I use Parenthood all the time and Vampires has the Victorian Gothic feel of the clothes and furniture which I use a lot even when not playing with the actual vampires.

I hope they reconsider offering this item later. I really do. I do not like early purchase rewards in general, but this one is cruel.

Thanks everyone for all of your help! EA was offering a bundle in addition to the sale, so I ended up getting growing together, werewolves, vampires, parenthood, and paranormal stuff! I'm so excited to play these packs tomorrow! Again thanks so much for your suggestions! I think that these packs will give me a little bit of both. Something different from my usual play style, as well as some more family gameplay too.

I know not everyone is comfortable using other sites to buy the games, but I was able to get this extra content for a very small price (49p) at cdkeys. (For Rent is also at a reduced price, sold separately.) I don’t know whether the bonus content requires For Rent to work, but at that price it might be worth trying.

But yes, I wish they would bundle all this bonus content together one day and sell it as a kit or something, so that everyone gets a chance to have it in their game.

@MrPlumbob If you’ve decided you want to get Growing Together and are deciding between Parenthood, Vampires and Werewolves, I would say go for Parenthood and Werewolves. All of these packs are good so you can’t really go wrong, but Parenthood does go very well with Growing Together. If you enjoy family play, you’ll have a lot of fun with Parenthood. I can’t distinguish now between what came with Parenthood and what came with Growing Together, but I do remember that Parenthood added a lot more depth to my kids and teens gameplay.

As for Vampires v. Werewolves, I’d say Werewolves simply because I think there’s more in the pack. Vampires feels quite small in comparison. They’re both fun to play, and both have nice worlds and some really interesting BB and CAS, but Moonwood Mill is much bigger and the aesthetic feels to me quite different from anything else we have in the game. I think Vampires was one of the earlier packs whereas Werewolves is quite recent, and textures and worlds are much better now than they used to be.
