This reminds me of when you had all of those random fires happening at his mansion in Henford that time. I second installing fireguard on all of Erik's fireplaces. I wanted to mention, that in my experience, fireguard doesn't always work. I once had a sim family put fireguard on their fireplace, and it wasn't an hour later their living room carpet caught fire.
