- atreya33Seasoned VeteranYou can delete the holidays from the calendar. Cancelling them in live mode only deletes that one holiday but makes it come back next year. Deleting them in the calendar makes them go away permanently.
Not sure what you mean by other events but as far as I know festivals and such can't be deleted, but they can be easily ignored without consequences. - This should probably be in the mods forum. The topic may not get the foot traffic you need otherwise.

Thank you so much for the help Atreya33 and Calico45. The events like pirate's day and such if you ignore them they give a debuff to your Sims. It annoys me because I can not delete them (I'm an old gal). I use the calendar for the moon phases before Werewolves I hated that calendar and wished I could delete the whole thing...lol
Old gal, from another 'old gal' player, (I'm 67). Simply open up your calendar. Click on the holiday you wish to delete. The panel for that should come up and you'll see the pencil for edit, but there should also be a trash can icon (I think it is) to remove it. Hit that one and voila, it's gone, at least for that calendar year. Be aware it may yet return. Or if you Sims move you'll have to delete them again. I don't approve of the Brawl 'holiday' (nothing holy about that). But I can't let it stand, because even though I can keep my Sims from taking part in it, they do get the moodlet for having an awful holiday. So, I feel your pain. You can do this. I have faith in you. :) - Thank you so much for the help Atreya33 and Calico45. The events like pirate's day and such if you ignore them they give a debuff to your Sims.
