- Thee parents can ask about phase and dress like a bear with the child. When I did that the phase went by rather quickly.

You can get the child to change out of the costume whenever you like but they will have a sad moodlet for not being allowed to dress like a bear.
I actually think that phase is kinda cute, though I do wish the costume was more like a hooded onesie to show the child's face. - Kittybass7 years agoSeasoned AceIf you want to remove it, enable testing cheats and type
traits.remove_trait ChildhoodPhase_Bear - I kinda like it :D but it really looks creepy without the child's face out of the costume lol
- Kittybass7 years agoSeasoned AceI don't like it either, that's why I keep that cheat on hand every time one of my kids goes through this phase. It's a bit much. Pretty over"bearing". :D I might have thought it was cute if the phase didn't last so long.
- GalacticGal7 years agoLegendMy youngest Sim and the only daughter in one of my games is now currently going through this phase. Dad had the desire to dress like a bear and silly me, I took the family into cas.fulleditmode to accommodate the whim. Then I realized I just had to find it in the menu. :open_mouth: Went back and removed the costume from his wardrobe. LOL I just don't desire to see him walking about as a giant bear, randomly. Sometimes I do wonder if I'm getting a tad addle-brained. :worried:

I did the same thing the first time I encountered it, if it makes you feel better. :) I just used Plan Outfits and it was in the Full Body category. It's better than Picky Eater or Mean Streak.- GalacticGal7 years agoLegend

Thank you for that. :) - CommishLawWonder7 years agoNew HotshotThe parents dress like a bear with the child did NOT do it for me. This phase is a lot worse than picky eater. If another household in my same game file managed to nip the phases in the bud, why can't mine? #sims4issues #ihatephases #permanentgrounding
