HELP! Where did all the plants/bugs go?

So I took my Sims camping because my one girl is a floral designer and I wanted to her to find different plants and flowers.They're all gone. There are no bugs or plants anywhere. It is the winter so ...

I believe the op is saying the plants aren't even there at all.
