Help with BFFs

basically You have to somehow unfriend kill or delete the bff you already have, that was painful....but I got over it. You then create a new random household with one character and place it anywhere on the map, visit said household, make bff then delete......just keep repeating that. I eventually just started picking random people...the ones I didn't particularly like....and after bffing them I made them laugh to death, yes there are weaponized jokes.

You can also use the cheat
aspirations.complete_current_milestone
press ctrl+shift+c and type that in and the milestone will complete.

It seems like you guys have been successful at making 1 BFF at the least but for some reason i can't even get 1. I maxed out the friendship bar and became best friends. I even made sure the conversation is pleasant and they are both very happy but no BFF option. Like i said i don't even have 1 BFF so i don't know why i'm failing to make a BFF. Any suggestions?

Yeah on my first sim i had the bff option, but later on my child sim i needed to make a bff as part of the requirements for passing my social butterfly aspiration and im not getting the option off either my sim child's mother or another adult sim friend he has. Lovely if they patched this.

Is how my kid made her first BFF. After finally becoming very good friends and increasing the friendship meter I was finally able to have "make best friend' option to display as choices when clicking on her good friend.

Was the kids best friend a child also? Is that why i can't befriend my childs sims mother or the other adult?

@RAGNAROKJ Ahhh yes they were both kids. I have not tried it with an Older sim :(

I think when they say 'become best friends', it already means that they are BFFs. Cuz I don't see any best friends forever option either. XD But I do have two sims who are best friends.

It's really, really tragic how my cowplant doesn't seem to get along with my bffs! Must be jealous!

I hope they fix this soon. One of the kids in my next Legacy generation has that aspiration.

My sims had one BFF is Bella Goth, my sims haven't call her for a while. Suddenly, one days Amber is particularly good with my Sims and pop up the BEST Friend option. So, i click that and my challenge have 2 BFF now. But when i check the friends status, which you can click the panel and check the picture. Bella Goth is no longer my sims best friends. So i figure it out , the way is you have another BFF, then you don't contact them anymore and let the relationship bar drop. and just keep befriend with others... one day your BFF is no longer fill that post and you can click to invite others to be BFF. But still they are your good friend or friend....... The relationship go low fast in a few days in Sims4.... so it take some times that your BFF change.

Anyway this works for me , now my sims have 4 BFF now, now i just need to wait and will have 5 later on. i am hoping that i can finish tonight. This one is so hard.
