I've been thinking on this, I think I can make 12 work OK. I'm planning this out now lol.
I figure I probably want a pub, library and cafe in the center of the village, that leaves space for one house there. More community lots would be nice there but I can make do with those.
I want to add a vet, and probably a community space in the countryside (Market or garden would work well) . Maybe a community space in the farming district and a vet in whatever the last one is. Need to see how the districts work out.
Given villages don't have tons of community lots, it makes sense to have to go into the city for anything major. I grew up in an English village, which had a library, shop, post office, two antique stores, one restaurant and church growing up. And it was a bigger village than this one looks like. It since has had 3 cafes added and the post office has closed along with the antique stores. Oh it also had 4 pubs, I think it's down to 2 now. It originally had 9 pubs I believe, most with bedrooms B&B style, as it was a common stopping point between a nearby town and a city back in the horse and carriage days. So for once I'm not mad about having another bar/pub lol.
Tbh I'm loving how this pack is feeling like my life. This and University are the only packs that resemble anything like my life, I'm surprised how much I seem to be into it. Guess I didn't realise how nice it is to have actual representation of your life again.
