Is there a way to unlock and put the Hermit in their "proper" clothing? The Hermit in my game is an elder male, but wearing make-up, earrings, pink sweater, skirt, and heels? I just want a normal Her...

The hermit clothing is in CAS under the full outfits, select that and then filter by pack (Outdoor Retreat of course) and then it'll come up. There are a few different color swatches for it as well.
Edit: you know, it's really odd that your hermit spawned in women's clothing because just today I had my sim visit the hermit and he was in the correct clothing for a while, but then all of the sudden while he was gardening he changed into an outfit that included a pair of women's shorts. Weird coincidence.
