I haven’t really played for idk… Probably about 6 or more months now… but learned recently about the new life state, making 8 stages of life for sims?? 🤯 After I personally had thought about it— got thinking, that whole thing where some simmers like to debate what game is better Sims 3 or 4… Guess the sims 4 fanatics are having a field day rubbing in the whole “we just got a new life stage, infants”. *But I know as most,* both games are a gem in their own rights! 😍I couldn’t help though, but be a bit surprised about another pack and more new additions to the game! Figured since at one time, anyhow, Sims 5 with what from shots looks like, will be an amazing visual spectacle, on it’s way eventually, sims 4 add on we’re just about over.And a NEW life stage? 😳 Never would have or could have seen that one coming lol.. Idk but feels like it’s very likely, *if we forget the chances of twins and triplets for a second,* with a new addition having 5 stages to go through (assuming no Insta age ups are ever used like Cake)… Feels like a sim couple if as young as YA… Could they even have 3 children and see them ALL to young adult before the parents (one or both) are elder? Lol 😂 Golly, sims 4 kids are now just full of life 🤭But how IS everyone enjoying this new thing, now that it’s been a thing for I guess, 3 or 4 months..?

Its fun but I also feel like I'm starting to hit the " please Simmingal its time to play with other features of the game" by now :sweat_smile: just been too stuck with them nooboos since I have many many households in such stageI thank watcher I have none to do with babies infants and toddlers IRL :lol:

I find them pretty useless, just smaller toddlers that can't really do anything. Then again, everything that makes them somewhat interesting is in Growing Together, so maybe I'll get more out of them once I own that pack.

I find infants to be very difficult and time consuming. But I complain that the game is too easy, so I like that it's an added challenge.

So far, I’ve be spending my time adding the likes and dislikes to my huge rotation of sims, that came with growing together, and trying to get one of my families to have the funds to move to a bigger house in San Sequoia. A lot was added in the newest expansion pack, including making the infants more complicated and a new set of family dynamics, vacationing friends or family staying over night, a tree house that is actually useable, not just a rabbit hole, and a new lot type called a rec center which is multi functional. Along with the new world that comes with walking trails and power walking.

I haven't really played with them yet. I have a couple of households with babies but haven't felt like playing them and the households I was playing didn't want any babies. :smile:

Actually I am enjoying the new Baby Lifestate. It’s making me more of a Family player. To the point that I now having my long term (4 to 6 years) only Couple households having babies now.?
I so wish simmers can see some of them in the Gallery.?
Especially my Doctor TARDIS & his companion wife’s new baby girl, Jenny TARDIS.?
Also my BeautyBelle & VincientBeast’s new baby girl, Belinda Glassrose.?

I love them, and I really enjoy watching them and seeing them gain their milestones. But they are definitely hard work! It’s a relief to be able to rotate away and play a family without infants for a while.

my experience is if it didn't glitch (I have a lot of families with infants to check) you don't really have to do anything sims will go tend to them and sometimes it's better that way as with glitches they may put down their babies before feeding them or changing them if you direct it. Aside from that I love having them I pick and choose who I work on milestones for so it's not all exactly the same. Pretty easy to take care of them so they can just be cute.

I am having the time of my life! And while I do agree with a Player above, Infants take time, I have managed to find a rhythm to my game that allows for the Infant to be well cared-for without driving everyone else (including me) crazy. I have to say, I'm on my fifth Infant in this game save. The second child turned out to be a set of twins, too. So, I have been baptized in fire, so to speak. Little Peter, my fifth experience with an Infant is difficult, but mostly because he's a gassy baby. Poor little dude. He's got less than ten days to age up, so it's about time for my couple to consider that sixth child they determined they wanted when they were dating. Erik is a Rock Star and has concerts and photoshoots to attend, let alone spending time down in the Recording Studios to turn out albums. Finally found a way for him to be the hands-on father he wants to be and still keep his career thriving (that rhythm thing I mentioned above). I employ autonomy to help me manage such a large household, and always have. Plus, the Pause Button really is our friend. :) I'm also really enjoying the family dynamics GrT brought to the game.

As far as Sims 4 being on the way out, EA told us some time ago, there is still much ahead. I'm unconcerned. I won't be switching to Rene, Sims 5, for a couple of reasons. I'm tired of the long wait from base game to something really fun, plus hubby is staring down retirement in the next couple of years and that means a fixed income.

Go ahead and jump in, the water is FINE.
