Lol I'm really confused. You want the sims team to cry in a video? ??
Who is crying in that video? That's just how that individual talks. Pretty rude to say something like that, IMO.
My apologies. So let me rephrase the question in a more polite manner ? you want the sims team to make a video full of emotion that makes it seem like they are about to cry?
I don't think flippant remarks are really 'polite' but go off.
Anyway, it's clear what OP is asking for, whether or not it's agreed upon -- stronger communication and more empathy from the development team. I don't think that's a huge request; The Sims is an expensive product. Ownership of all of its content adds up to the cost of a potential new laptop. If there are quality issues, broken promises, etc. which there have been all throughout the game's existence from development until now, then yeah, why not?
Wouldn't make a difference. They can cry, they can beg and plead on their knees and people would still curse them or turn anything they say against them. If they get too emotional then people would say they are being condescending or making fun of the community.
People just have a problem with anything they do or say and any way they say it.
That's my own personal opinion by the way based on what I observed over the years. Not "going off" on you lol?
Exactly this, it doesn’t matter how they communicate people will pick it apart and deem it inadequate. As for bugs, fixing them isn’t that easy. Not everyone experiences the same ones, some are due to lack luster systems, some due to cc and mods, and not everyone is honest about these things when they report. Bugs that are definite game bugs that pretty much everyone notices can be a tricky fix in that maybe yo fix bug A but then cause bugs B,C, & D. So then you have to fix those too without causing bug E before shipping out the patch. I find it hilarious how a bunch of people who likely have never programmed a game in their lives get on here and criticize and claim “it’s so easy” or say “how hard can it be”?
Bottom line is they do try to communicate, they do try to be somewhat transparent but there is an entire segment of this community that is simply determined to be dissatisfied with anything they do or say, and that segment of the community refuses to move on from TS4 because complaining about it is every bit as much a hobby for them as playing it is for those who enjoy it.
