What you all want is good PR. I don't know what kind of PR they give, I don't follow twitter or whatever, but this is what it sounds like you want.
I also now understand why dev members rarely engage with their fanbase. It's a flame fest.
Pretty much. I never understood why they have to be so understaffed. I mean most games have more than one community manager per game, but not EA. It is generally been a problem for EA why they won the golden poop award 3 years in a row. It is poor communication even internally within the staff. I know pandemic isn't helping. But yeah why CM is more behind the scenes now because whether there is punishment against the influencer program or not SimVIP will still continue to censor the Sims community by attacking our only source of communication all for the sake of making money they don't need, it is just greed and ego motivating their site keeping face. Many of us were glad when they left the program. I do hold EA responsible for letting them back into the program after they stole from the Sims 3. Their community members still comment on their site about pirating the kits too. Yibsim program worst thing EA planned for and well after the EA Sports incident in Jacksonville community and devs isn't the highest on their radar still. Makes me glad devs are working from home after that. Why I get worried with Sims community getting more competitive too. At this rate competition from other games will be the only thing to wake EA up with how they treat Maxis.
