I agree, honestly making a video would be even too much. If we look at the example of
Cyberpunk 2077 I think they handled it pretty well. Why do I compare these two games? Let's see:
- Was the game released even tho it wasn't fully finished? Yes.
- Was the game full of bugs and was missing some things? Yes.
- Was the game playable? For some, but could be better.
- Was the game made by a brand that has all the needed resources to make a great game? Yes.
Creators of Cyberpunk 2077 acknowledged all their mistakes, allowed people to return the game, made a roadmap called "OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY", decided to make free DLCs to compensate for their mistakes, made a few massive updates to fix bugs (they're not finished yet) and they're in touch will all their community.
What about EA you ask?
Well, we got few updates with a few major features (that people had to
beg for to even be considered), few bug fixes (that usually introduce new ones), and MAAAANY (too many) DLCs that cost A LOT for such a small amount of content (and guess what? they also introduce new bugs).
Bravo EA, and Maxis as well.
