I know you would get a pop-up warning you about a disallowed word. I did last night when I was saving my alien sim to my Library. I'm not sure what the disallowed word was with mine because there wasn't anything obvious to me. Even then, when I loaded up my Library the cloud icon was still there as if I could share him.
The only other thing I could think to tell you is to repair the game.
