This should bethe final updatefor this thread.
I have been playing quite a while now and have been really enjoying this bit of creative play.
It has become a major pivot point in my rotation strategy for my many sims. I am now adding how it all turned out.
This first post will act as a table of contents now and link to my experiences.
I hope a teen pack of sorts is in the works as it will only add to, or maybe even replace what I am doing in the game.
And yeah, it was in the works as I wrote this. :D
Now I am wishing I had taken the initial leak a little more seriously when it first hit.
But even if I had, I don't think I would have believed I would actually be playing the game in July!
I would have halted the playing of my teens through prep school and University.
These six have already graduated and have jobs. They would have missed HSY no matter what.

These three missed it too. They are currently in Uni right now.
The black haired girl is a graduate as well. She is just visiting my sims on her own. There were two more sims that graduated with her.Spoiler
These three Britechester-bound sims are still teens, currently in the prep-school.
They are on hold until I get HSY. There are nine others living with their parents.
So over half of my sims missed HSY, and the thing is those were my favorite sims. :p
One thing is for sure.
I am going to have a field day with the new high school themed content.

My prep school housing is looking way too Britechester/Foxbury.
It needs to be grounded with high school content.

Just had a thought: if teens are able to get crushes, possibly without player intervention, doesn’t that imply that there is some sort of attraction system coming??
I would love it if they brought something like that back. They can use the traits for likes and dislikes to help determine if sims will like the other or would get along or not, etc....
I also hope the acne isn't just a face detail and actually can pop up at random and have the sims get moodlets (they already sort of get the on the verge of a breakout moodlet from I think Parenthood, so this will work great with that).
I currently have teens in my game; but I am planning on just starting the game over completely once it is released. I plan to tell my sim's full life story and will all the packs (well besides a music one), I can really do that now. - SweetieWright_843 years agoSeasoned Ace

DeeSims reaction to the new EP is so cute. She spotted some big Uno cards on the floor; I don't know if this is clutter or if this will be a new card game that Sims can play.Spoilerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yV6vISOxBwc
In the trailer, Kevin, the socially awkward romantic teen, was playing with a rubik's cube. So, maybe there will be some puzzles, board games or a new card game.
I agree, her reaction was so cute. Out of all the ones I've seen, her reaction was my favorite. It made me even more excited for the pack than I already was. - wildirishbanshee3 years agoSeasoned AceI expect lots of Monster High/Ever After High with this pack lol. Hopefully, there will be mods for those we can't make in game yet, like poor Frankie. Or at least the required CC lol.
- MVWdeZT3 years agoSeasoned AceI am looking forward to this. Prom won't be a rabbit hole this time, like it was in TS3. And I certainly didn't expect the Ferris wheel, haunted house, and tunnel of love.
- One benefit of playing with aging off, I don't have to worry about my kid sims aging up to adults before the pack gets here.? Not that I'm not in a hurry for it to get here. There are so many cool things coming up with this pack I can't believe it, and we're getting it right on top of what has turned out to be hands down the best pack yet for this iteration.
I am dying for a good look at Copperdale. I so want to go exploring this new world because the few glimpses look beautiful. And I can't get the kits out of my head either. The last few have been amazing and I love that the BB kit is hinting at a Southwestern feel which is one of my favorites irl. - crocobaura3 years agoLegend

There's also a poster in the Highschool trailer with a similar design with cacti and sun shining above, you can see it at 0:48. "crocobaura;c-18139969" wrote:

I'll check that out after work. I'm sure I'll rewatch the trailer a few dozen times this weekend. I tend to focus on just one single theme or element each time I watch, so it takes me a lot more views to catch all the things most people pick up in just a couple of viewings. I'm weird like that.- Babykittyjade3 years agoSeasoned Ace

There is a webcam on the monitor. I wonder if you'll be able to see the Sim you are chatting with and/or play video games with them. Can't wait to see what she's looking at.
Ohhhhhhhh as much as I hate technology in sims this would be so cool!! I would use that lol?? I also wonder if we are getting a new texting system or phone upgrade based on the trailer....
