Sad Sims 3 was more advanced. Funny how Maxis claims Sims 4 build mode is more advance. The reality is its not. Just because I can click and drag like a mobile game (Sims 3 introduced it first!) doesn't make it advance. o:)
By the way is that house a custom? Would love to get it.- ehaught588 years agoRising Novice

But the great thing was is that you could quickly and easily make the lot flat! It was great having the choice. :) - taydevsim8 years agoNew Spectator

Exactly. It’s all about the player having options. - Sigzy_298 years agoNew Spectator

That's probably because you don't know how to use the terrain tools. Uneven terrain is amazing. It adds more realism to houses, more garden landscape options, higher level houses with stair walkaways etc. There is a "flatten lot" button but the terrain could end up looking pretty ugly on the edges, it's best to just plan your house terrain and soften it to look the best. - Sigzy_298 years agoNew Spectator

I haven't finished furnishing a bathroom and a room, but I can put it on the exchange later. I have been busy with some life stuff :p It does not have cc. And the hot tub and diving board can be used with no issues. I have already tested it. :) "VenusABatson;d-923207" wrote:
Who misses houses you could build on hills and be able to build walkout basements? You could really manipulate the ground too and create an interesting as well as beautiful yard.
True, but sometimes the ground level didn't match where I wanted to put the house. That was the problem I had with some of these.- GalacticGal8 years agoSeasoned AceI do. The very first castle I built was in Sims2. I raised the ground and used that to plan out the formation. I really loved that castle. I let my imagination run wild. I wish I had pictures. I got angry, after I went back from Sims3 to play my favorite family in Sims2. One of the twins kept missing school, because, sadly, the child was stuck on the walkway out front and missed the bus, unbeknownst to me. It was only when the SS (social worker) came and collected the twins and their toddler sister due to a glitch NEVER fixed after Mansions and Gardens SP, that I lost my temper and uninstalled that game! Gone was everything, including the Store Stuff. I've regretted my impetuousness ever since. I will NOT uninstall Sims3, no matter what. Lesson learned.
- I prefer TS4 build mode. It's much more flexible, builds look more beautiful but I do miss terrain tools and foundation customization.
