I like both, although I prefer Superstar. I'd like it if you could hire an agent who could sign you up for jobs/gigs depending on your level of fame and skills, and most of those gigs are short term with a set number of days (e.g. a 4-day movie shoot from 9 AM to 3 PM, and a 1-day modeling photoshoot from 5 PM to 8 PM) so that you can take on as many jobs as you'd like as a celebrity. And maybe offer you the option to either go with your sim to work or send them alone like with GTW, where going with your sim could let you play minigames that affect how well they do like in Superstar. But if you have other family members you'd want to focus on, sending them alone is fine too.
