Calling Parenthood akin to generations is a stretch. They're nothing a like. Generations is about expanding the different life stages. Parenthood is about raising children and affecting their lives as adults.
I don’t think it’s that big of a stretch. Sure the focus of PH is much narrower than the Generations expansion, but the themes of PH were present in Generations in one way or another. So I do consider them alike in many ways, obviously the gameplay element is different but that’s the case with every revisited theme.
