Holding a Pot of Beans

Question

My Sim made a pot of beans and then just stood there holding it. I did the reset/debug and she put it on the floor. then I instructed her to resume them and she picked it up and just stood there.

It's funny the same thing happened when she was supposed to go to work, I could not get her to go to her barista job.

I've repaired the game and I hope that works or I'll have to delete the game and start over.

I've been through sims stuck holding an object or stuck interacting with an object when they were not. It can be a pain in the butt.

I tried to remove a spoiled packed lunch but it got stuck. So, I exited the game and then returned, problem solved.

Particularly the dreaded stuck skill meter and when a thoughtbubble gets stuck and sits infront of everything else, for instance.

I do wonder why she would not go to work. I had her quit that job and start another one.  She hasn't had to go to work yet, so I'll have to see what happens when she does.
