You wouldn't have a club outfit, but maybe you can select the category of apparel -- for a Summer holiday at the pool everyone could show up in swimsuits, or for New Year's Eve everyone is in formalwear.
One of the SimGurus said we can set the length of the seasons -- I'm probably going to need at least 2 week long seasons since I play on Long lifespan, to pack in everything and not make my Sims too overwhelmed.
