Horses in horse ranch a new way of transportation?

I was just wondering if sims could ride their horses to different lots and venues as a means of transportation. Or do horses just gallop and stay on the lots they live on? Like if I choose to travel is a horse a way to travel? Like the bikes we got in the university expansion pack?

    you can ride horses off lot anywhere you want :) (well anywhere your sims can walk basically)

    It's a dream pack for me ? wanted horses for a long time and they were done extremely well. Very happy with everything. The horses, the animals, the world, the content, the CAS the b/b.
    I just really like it. And if I get time to play tonight I'm planning on making some dark themed horses for my evil vampires. ❤

    I have a small qualm about wanting more lots but that’s because I hate agonizing over which of the prebuilt lots get bulldozed for the builds I have in mind.
