Hot tubs & Winter

I was looking at some trailer shots from official Seasons trailer. The screenshot featured several sims covered in ice while was enjoying her self over the cold weather. In the background of this shot was a swimming pool. And it appeared as if those frozen sims were swimming in the pool. And that got me to wondering about hot tubs and Winter. My question is will a sim or sims freeze right after they have gotten out of a heated hot tub that's outside?

    If they continue like they did with the past Sims games, they won't freeze right away when they get out.

    I was thinking about this the other day and wondered how sims in hot tubs would be. Guess they might be fine in the hot tubs but I assume a wet sim + cold weather = not good results :#

    I really can't say for certain that those sims that were frozen were in fact in the pool at all. They did make a sim stand outside in Winter in his Summer clothes. And made him freeze to death in the Live stream. So they might have done this to the sims that I was referring to as well.

    It'd be cool to use them in the winter, but meh. My game is bugged anyway. Literally no Sim, even mine, unless I order it, enters hot tubs. Even when I get my Sim to enter one, and invite other Sims over, they all get out within a minute anyway.

    It's sad cause I wanted my Sims to use hot tubs. Had no idea this would happen though.

    Oh? It was fixed? Well I should check my game right now and find out. I haven't played in awhile and didn't read many of the patch notes for a bit.

    UPDATE: Sadly my game is still borked. It's been borked ever since I got the pack that came with the hot tub. Sims still never enter it. I must resign myself to the fact that I will never be able to use a hot tub in Sims 4 again.

    Odd. I have a sim who is constantly getting into the hottub for a nice long nap. The one time something similar to what you described happened to me, I was trying to get a couple to woohoo in the hot tub. First they couldn't get in, then by the itme one got in the other got out. Think it took three tries to get them to get in at the same time and stay in long enough to woohoo.

    This just gave me an idea to use the spa day towels as a “cold weather” outfit, so when they get out it looks like they wrapped up in a towel before running inside! :)
