I had not taken my sims anywhere. Kids did go to school. Its hard for me to juggle a family so they tend to lead boring lives with me controlling them, LOL. A day and a half is still a long time to burn, did you just watch? I couldn't take my sims anywhere (it let the kids go to school but wouldn't let the teen) when the fire happened, and they couldn't even put it out. So are you saying you were able to extinguish parts of it (mine couldn't even when he discovered the fire) ?
