Houseguests...

So, I fired up yet another new Sim. This one lives in one of the Culpepper Apartments.
The welcome wagon came by and she invited them in. Guess that's how Madison met the Bheeda's. Point being that when the game spawned a stay over request it was the very pregnant couple and not Kyle who have ended up on the murphy bed. (Maybe they had a flood or need to clear out during some renovations for the incoming nooboo?)

Couple of musings:

- Apparently stay over guests are a deterrent against the Gremlins. Probably because they (Sims) keep such weird hours when left to their own devices.
- Are there any rewards or penalties for a good or bad stay over?
- Can one end a stay over early if wanted. I didn't seem to notice a friendly interaction... but maybe a mean one (which would raise the issue of consequences) or in the calendar?
- Will Jesminder wait to have her baby or will she go into labour while staying on Madison's couch??

You can cancel it on the calendar, I believe.

ETA: And this is what I get for not reading others' responses before I make mine. :open_mouth:
  • I'm not sure about penalty and rewards. I don't think there are any.

Yes, you can end a stay over early. On the calendar you can end it by clicking the little trash can. It's the same as deleting other events/holidays.

As for Jesminder's baby, I assume it depends on how far into the pregnancy she is whether or not she'll go into labor during the stay over. I haven't had many stay overs, and never a pregnant sim stay over. I would assume she would just autonomously disappear, have the baby, and return back to your sim's place. As far as I can tell, sims usually live their normal lives during stay overs. They go to work, school, etc.
