Household Collections question

My guess would be what was added after the base game.

It's extra collectibles from packs. The 32 plants are from the base game and you only have to find them to complete the collection. I think the red number is the number of added plants you've collected. (Outdoor retreat added 10 plants and GTW added 3 I believe.)

Just specifying: Only the ones from the base game have to be collected to get the plaque for finishing a collection (or get the bunny from the eggs), but once you have possible red numbers, those have to be completed too to get the collection counted as completed in the upper right corner there (the 0/16 completed).

My collections keep saying 99/99 in red writing once I've been on the build/buy mode. Any advice??

That sounds like a bug -- I know you're a new member so can't post a screenshot, but if you could link to one (take the screenshot, upload it to a hosting site like imgur then post the link) I can grab the image and post it for you. I'd like to tag @SimGuruNick on this.

Good advice, grabbing an image or screenshot can help provide a visual as to what you're encountering. Could you create a Bug report for this on Answers HQ and include that screenshot please?
