Household/Family "Portraits"

Question

Basically, I sometimes will screenshot the pics of my families from household management. Sometimes it slips my mind tho, and honestly? I always regret it. I'm kicking myself that I missed capturing the families before the kids grow up and move on or whatever. Since we don't really have family portraits in game, and I suck at posing and stuff, this is the closest I can get. So, pretty much just to remind myself to take those pics, I'm gonna start this thread for anyone who wants to share their "family portraits."

So, in my main save, this was my founder Sim with her family.

Then I kinda missed taking screenshots of a lot of the next generation, except for these.

These are the oldest daughters of the above family, but I forgot to get snapshots of them before they grew up and moved out, so here they are.

That last one is actually a couple cousins I moved in together when they aged up. They're both dog lovers, one has the culinary aspiration, the other the gardening aspiration, so I moved them into a place where they can just garden and cook a lot, and run into dogs. Occasionally they adopt one of thee strays running around, and their current pup is Butterscotch, who's very loyal and playful, but kinda stubborn ;-P

Anyway, feel free to add your own, I'm gonna try to keep taking pics myself and adding them as I go.

That's actually really cool to see! I love the evolution of the family, especially with the aliens in there. It makes me wonder about their story and how they integrated into the fam.

Very cool idea to use the thumbnails! I do wish we had a family pose option for photography.

I like the evolution of your family I don't think I have pics like those unless I moved them out of the folder and forgot about them.

Maybe one day they'll had an update for portraits and tweak the studio from get to work, the closest I get is my family picture walls loaded with selfies and such.

I take photos for story purposes but I often forget to just take photos in game. It's a good reminder. Thanks!

Also, @RedDestiny92 - I love your photo walls! I'm now trying to think how to achieve a similar thing with my house!

@kemisz  Oh I'm glad you should share when you get it together :smiley:  I think that if you have too many they may add to lag, so I tend to build more for one family than others but I love to put them together and go through when playing. That one for the Pancakes has been added to since the last play on to the next group.

Also, if you're curious, here's a link to my plumtree for this family, which is a work in progress and may actually be more confusing, but there you go.  Basically, my founder sim's daughter had triplets, then twins, and one of those triplets had six kids and the other had twins and the other became a vampire, so that's when things got kinda crazy.
