Do you have MCCC? If I see her load on a lot where I think romantic interactions might happen (if my sims are on a date, at the Romance Festival, out with a romantic interest or partner, etc.), I use MCCC to force her to leave. I think any mod that allows you to make sims leave will also work.
FWIW, I totally agree with you. I get why some players love her but I find it very annoying that she assaults sims for having romantic interactions in her general vicinity when, in my game, they're never talking to her in the first place. Get a life, lady. :lol:
