How are you preparing your game for Island Living?

I’m trying to finish what I have planned for my main family in my save. When the pack arrives I will age up my teen. So she will move to Sulani to start over on her own. :smile:

I'm waiting for the EP to come out and create a new family.
I mean wow, the hairstyles and clothes we're getting! :heart:

But I already have a whole storyline in my head, i'm just too excited :tongue:

I am moving along with my current legacy so the daughter, who is currently a child, can move to the island when she becomes a young adult.

Nothing ??. No I’m really trying to finish a few things up first (strangerville mystery) but other than that waiting to see. I don’t want to build or anything until I see the BB and CAS. I know what sim I’m using already and I’m doing a rags to riches living of the island play through with it. So not much to prepare.

My Sims are going to have a great time there swimming, etc when traveling, and also some of them are going living there.

Lucy, my loner archaeologist, finally maxed out both her archaeology and Selvadoradan culture skills so she's ready for a new adventure. :) And her parents are coming up on retirement, so they will likely join her there as she's been in Selvadorada by herself for quite a long time. And one of her siblings moved to San Myshuno and one moved to Del Sol Valley, so her folks are happy to know they have one of their kids able to help take care of them.

Ironically I’m going to move my famous vampire sim to the new world. He’s gonna open a sun tanning store. I just got him immune to sunlight, he doesn’t want people to know he’s a vampire so it’s a great cover up.

I'm just going to try and build up my vampire sims skill points so he can withstand sunlight and enjoy sunbathing.

I have a teenage male sim and I’m planning on creating a female mermaid and moving them off to Sulani. There they’ll fall in love, have their children, and live a dream life. They may not be rich, they may end up raising a bunch of hybrid babies ?, but hey I’m still very very excited ? ?

Same as I do for every expansion: Nothing. I never restart because of an expansion with the exception of Vampires. But that was more because I had not played the game for a year and a half before Vampires came out, in fact that pack made me play the game again.

This always means I am dragging behind in experience; I will play my very first actor career Sim in about two (real time) weeks when one of the teen daughters in my family ages up. I will try out the freelancer career in about 2 months or so, real time. Will probably go island living about the same time at the earliest.
