How bright/stupid are vampires?

Yeah, I bought the vampire pack (which I wasn't going to do yet :tongue: ) and am a bit lost.

I haven't had too much of an issue with this unless I invited a vampire to something during the day. Then they will show up in the sun still and if there isn't shelter they will get crispy. However they did seem to find shelter if they could while I was playing.

I know when it was first released there was some issues with vampires being outside but I haven't noticed any lately.

If you have City Living, I've seen Vampires attending festivals, playing guitars and so on while the sun was STILL out without being cooked! :open_mouth:

I worked too hard in CAS to make my Sims (pictured: my Jamie Jolina as Vampire), have them learn Vampire lore, and turn them into Vampires, to simply barbecue them in the sun!

I'm not sure if City Living introduced a bug (I've had Vampires longer than City Living), but I don't ever recall seeing Vampires out walking around with the sun still up.

I don't have CL so I didn't know about that. Thanks for bringing it up. :)
That is kind of interesting that the vampires aren't burning up outside though.
Celeb has sun immunity so he wouldn't cook, but all of the others I have had come to house parties and start burning up on me. I wonder if festivals are programmed to not let vampires die during them or something.
