How bright/stupid are vampires?

If I don't play a household with a vampire do they have a sence of self-preservation and stay OUT of the sunlight or am I going to see scorchmarks all over town? And I assume there is no autonomous vampire turning?

Yeah, I bought the vampire pack (which I wasn't going to do yet :tongue: ) and am a bit lost.

he's never broke into a House either.

I also have one vampire I rarely ever see like anywhere at all, and practically almost no one knows of his existence either. Also interesting to know he's part of one of the most oldest vampire clans in my game.

I've only made one vampire character so far and currently I think she's kinda in between when it comes to intelligence. I'm still getting used to the not going out in the sun thing but if she stays inside enough, she's usually okay. As for the NPC characters, I get pretty annoyed when they try to break in my house. So I tend to always lock my doors as soon as I create a lot with a family in it. It freaks me out. Gets me all nervous and such. I don't like them being vulnerable and stuff.
