I have tested out, and found out the problem, but I am having some really bad script errors, and am looking for some ideas on how to solve it. First I thought it might have been my mods, so I pulled all them out and was still getting them. So I did a little in game testing to find out what is triggering the script error, and this is what I found.
I moved a sim into the apartment in the district in San Myshuno where the Spice District is at. Every single time my sim went home, or I left and came back into the game, my game would throw script errors at me. It was at this point I pulled all my mods, and deleted the catch file. I went back into my game, and I was bombarded with script errors again.
I then moved my sim from San Myshuno to Willow Creek, and all of sudden I was not having any script errors. I played for several sim days, and the only time I encountered a script error was when my sim went to the Spice District.
To further test my game, I moved my sim back to San Myshuno, and again the script errors kicked in like crazy again. I also noticed that things in that district would never clear properly. Meaning I would end up seeing 5 of those snack shacks, those rugs that you see that have the couches, chairs, and floor lamps setting on. All kinds of string lighting (for both the spice festival, and the flee market), and other stuff. I figure this must be what is causing the script errors to be triggered, and was wondering if there is any way I can deal with this. I have already had a sim live in the district for nearly 2 sims weeks, and it just won't clear up on it's own.
Check your mods firsts. Are they updated? Are any mods conflicting with each other? Are any of your packages conflicting with each other? Do you have any duplicates in your mod folder? Did you accidentally place a jpeg in your mod folder? Did you put the wrong type of file in? Double and triple check your mod folder. The worst case scenario is uninstalling and reinstalling the game. This should be done if no other advice given does NOT work the last resort measure. It WILL take at least a day for your game to uninstall and reinstall depending on how much extra stuff you have. I have had to do this a few times without mods because of the Seasons' updates being so screwy and breaking the game.
