If you're not opposed to CC, Mutske on Simsresource has a set of windows that I think are exactly what you're looking for.
I tested them in game and they fit flush up against each other and there's also one that is opened, which I thought was nice.
I look a screenshot so you could see what they look like in game since in her preview pic it's hard to tell exactly how wide they are.
