How common are twins?

In one of my families The mother had twins a boy and girl the first time. I tried for one more to have three children all together and she ended up having twins again a boy and a girl.

I just had triplets and they were all boy! it shocked me... for a moment there i thought there was a glitch cause the baby announcement window kept popping up, but no it was my sim having 3 boys! lol

I LITERALLY just had twins three times in a row, same mother and father. Kind of ridiculous actually. -_- wanted a small family now i have six kids, two teens and four children. why is this so common? is it a glitch?

Yes I just had 2 sets of twins from the same family too! Kind of annoying as my family is too big for me to manage! It has happened since the patch.

Two sets of twins for my family as well! Twins are irritating, crying aaaaall the time. Luckily not had triplets yet but can imagine that's a complete nightmare!!

On sims 3 I couldn't handle the toddlers... My sims were constantly tired.

My Sim once had triplets and another sim had identical looking twin girls.

my first the last births were twins in this game

My sim couple just had twins (boy and girl)

I think they're pretty common.. I've only just got the game and had only three pregnancies. each had twins.
