I have this mod set up to disable emotional deaths in my game as well, I wouldn't mind if the game had more frequent deaths from time to time. But, I honestly found that whole thing silly, perfectly healthy adults do not drop dead from laughing or embarrassment. However, the occasional random death by meteor could add a nice twist to the game!
True but that's what makes them sims - those silly deaths. It's a kind of lighter way to go.
