I visited my parents' place - might have been for Xmas or right before. On their computer I installed a TS1 demo thatr was on a free floppy or CD coming with some computer magazine that my father used to buy. I spent so many night hours to play, and the more I played the harder it was to stop because I knew I could not transfer the game/save file to my own home pc. It would probably be possible, I just did not know how. I can't recall whether I borrowed that floppy/CD or bought the base game to install it on my pc. But I did shortly after. I think this was Y2000, because there was only 1 EP available. From that moment I bought most every EP and a lot more, and I probably spent a trillion hours on my Sims websites and blogs to come ;)
