How do I grow my foal up to an adult horse?

So, on normal lifespan, foals take seven days to grow up to an adult horse. Right?

My foal has 0 days left to grow up, and it is now past 6pm on her grow up day...But I see no option to grow her up to an adult horse?

Can anyone tell me how to do that? Please!

    It is now after six am on the day AFTER the filly's grow up day. Aging IS on...I even made a cake and added candles thinking maybe there was an option for my sim to blow them out FOR the filly. But nope, that wasn't an option....Help, please!?!

    Well around eight thirty am on the day AFTER her age up day, my filly FINALLY aged up into an adult horse. Thank goodness!

    Horses (and pets) don't use birthday cakes but age up treats. The horses have their own age up treats. You can buy them at the Bits & Bales Mercantile grocery store in New Appaloosa for 150$. Feed them to your foal to age the foal to an adult.
