Get lots of positive moodlets. My Jade got engaged, eloped, became preggo, had an awesome meal and then decided to work out. She had several positive moodletsand was "very happy". She's clumsy and she slipped on the treadmill. The moodlet from the slip said something about clumsy people being able to laugh at themselves. That one slip made her hysterical and she promptly died.
Lol! I'll have to try that.
The more moodlets you have the more it boosts your current mood unless the moodlets counteract each other.- Ok, that sounds complicated. But I can try.
- It's really not - Positive moodlets (high needs, good meal, just engaged or married etc) boost positive moods such as playful and counteract negative moods such as sad or angry. Build up positive moodlets and watch the comedy channel or something similar to get playful and they should become hysterical pretty quick.
- It's not the problem to make your own sim hysterical as you're in control.
The problem is to make NPC sim hysterical. - Reddestiny921Seasoned Veteran

Take them to the lounge some of the npc comedians are actually good, there is suppose to be a killer joke at level ten of the comedy skill.
I actually had my sim on level 10 of comedian skill but she didn't have an option for a killer joke."sarasara14;12721359" wrote:

Then I'm not sure, I heard about it in the did you know thread, I think the option pops up when you use the mic at the lounge, or at all, but then that could have been a feature in another version the digital deluxe version had a little bit more. Perhaps leave a sim in front of the television watching comedy.
of course the existence of the joke could have been a joke too lol "motleydream;12722155" wrote:
Bubble baths also cause the playful state, so those can help you stack positive emotions to get to it.
That is true. And it works every time.- I created a sim, who I LOVED, and she became my favorite sim, but I didn't save her to my library, and I accidentally killed her in Solar Flare lounge AHHHHHHHHHH I'm so sad. Nicole River died of laughter, and I never saw her again. (Literally.) She became playful, and I had her make jokes to her boyfriend and make silly faces in a mirror. Suddenly I got a notification saying she was dying of laughter.
