How do I put out the fire?
Fire on the lot. Mom autonomously gets toddler to safety. That's fine. BUT! I can't tell any of the sims to put out the fire and I can't call emergency services...so fire is just blazing now

I believe sprinklers will only cover an entire floor of the house if they're placed on the outside wall of the house and then it's only on the level they're placed (ie one placed on the first floor only cover the first floor not the second or basement level of the house) sprinklers placed inside will only physically cover the room that they're placed in not the whole floor like if it's placed outside. And yes the fire alarm isn't needed if you have the sprinkler system but it does trigger the water to come on quicker if you pair them up as the water will start immediately after the alarm starts.
