How do I swipe something with the new kleptomaniac trait?

Click on an object to swipe it. The more mischief skill you have or the more you steal, more and bigger objects you will be able to swipe :D

You can't swipe anything at all until you have some mischief skill. The higher that gets the more you can swipe. At level 2 the first thing my sim swiped was a toiler roll holder. She did it autonomously too so that's a good sign!

Because it should be every sims desire to have a toilet roll holder. :sunglasses:

My sim keeps going to work and stealing piles of dirty dishes. :(

Additionally, you can swipe coins from the Fountain of Gluteus Maximus if you have Romantic Garden Stuff :3

I was wondering about this too. I recently started a sim that has the klepto trait and I'd click on several little small objects in people's homes but the option to swipe didn't come up for most of them but she was able to swipe a lamp and she tried to swipe a book but got caught. I can't remember what level mischief she's got (whatever level allows you to have the voodoo doll) but it seemed lamps were swipeable but decorative clutter items weren't? IIRC, in S3 you could swipe almost anything depending upon what type of lot you were on so I'm a little confused as to the "rules" for klepto in S4.
