Thanks for starting this thread @simgirl1010 and thanks also to @Bluebellflora and @rosemow for links to follow for basic issues.

I'm trying to figure out how to place large blocks of texts and pictures under a single spoiler tag. I know how to place the spoiler with button in the upper left of the comment box. When I place a series of pictures, say three and all three are next to each other with no text or spaces in between the image tags all I can do is place the spoiler on each picture individually and then edit out all of the tags except the opening tag on the first image and the closing tag on the last. Is there a way to enclose all three pictures under one spoiler without having enclose all three separately and edit out the unwanted tags?🤔

The other problem I have in this instance and this is the big one. When I tried this last night I had text that was included with the pictures that I also wanted to place under the same spoiler. When I did that the text was unreadable because the spoiler places a black background around the picture. So I used the font color tool to change the text under the spoiler to white to make it legible. It worked and my text was white but unfortunately the spoiler background color changed too, so my text was still illegible. Is there a way to include text under the spoiler along with the pictures and avoid this problem?

I ask because I've been copying a story I've been writing and sharing on the old forums over here too, but some of those chapters have 30+ pictures and 1500-3000 words. With BBCode I could enclose large chunks of pictures and text under one spoiler tag, but I'm not sure that these forums are designed with that kind of posting in mind. If I can't it's not the end of the world, I'll just link readers to the old forums for now and then the new forums later on. I'm slowly learning the ins and outs of HTML and it's not quite as user friendly when you're trying to share a big SimLit story.😁

Thank you @crinrict🙂 I suspect this forum wasn't really intended to be used for such big picture and text heavy posts. I want to continue sharing the story here, but I need to rethink how I'm going about it. So far I've only copied over four chapters out of the 44 and each one has taken 30-60 minutes to convert from BBCode to HTML, and those were the tiny chapters.😲 The really big ones I suspect would take a couple of hours or more, each.

How do I post a screenshot that was uploaded on Imgur?🫣 I tried just pasting the html code but it appears as code while in preview

I checked from the links posted above for help but those answer how to insert an image from a folder

You have to switch to the HTML tab next to compose and then paste it in there.🙂 Then you can switch back to the compose tab and resume writing.

How do I just post in a thread?

Do I use the 'reply' button of the latest post in the thread or of the first post?

Or is there another way? 

Oh, and is there a way to stay logged in? I have to sign in every time I visit this site.

I tried to find out in the settings myself, but they are a bit overwhelming o.o'

And: we can't make polls ourselves here(?) Will we be able to do this in the new forum?
