How do you adopt a stray?
My relationship with the stray is 100. I took it home hoping the option to adopt would pop up but nothing. Anyone know?

I have recently found a way to do this without using cheats.
1. Befriend the dog/cat you want to adopt.
2. Go back to your home which you can edit its lot traits
3. Give the lot the following traits: "Dog Hangout" if you want to adopt a stray dog / "Cat Hangout" if you want to adopt a stray cat.
4. There should be random stray spawning outside of your lot, then wait and see if you desired stray dog or cat is there.
5. When they arrive, hover over to them and check if there is an option for adopting them when clicking on the panel, if not, try increasing the relationship between the two of you buy repeatedly give them food over and over again (They won't grow bored of it).
6. Enjoy loving and spoiling your adopted pet!
