I had roommates who were in rival clubs. They would meet at the same time. That was interesting. They fought even when they clubs weren't meeting. Ended up having the roommates fall in love with the same guy who didn't care much if he got caught cheating. Moved him in with his two kids via manage households. Then I just let things happen.
