The way I play is I like each family to focus on a specific EP so that I can try and explore everything the EP has to offer including the world if it comes with one.
For example my recent family moved into Brindleton Bay as I have not fully played with the Cats and Dogs pack or even in that world. I renovated it all, and added lots that make sense being there. And now I love this world and can't believe I never played in it before. I adopted a dog, and bought a Pet Store as I didn't want to own a Vet Clinic. Added some more animal toys and doghouse CC so the game felt more complete to me. Now that the child has grown I've decided to focus on Get Famous so I renovated Del Sol Valley and moved the child there. Now she's going to work her way up and become a celebrity.
